My story

Meet April! April is a quiet, 5 year old girl who’s still learning to trust the world around her. She came to us with her siblings from a difficult situation, and like them, she may be the result of inbreeding. April is very shy and currently prefers the safety of her hidey hole, where she feels most comfortable. She’s open to love, she just needs time, patience, and a peaceful environment, she has the potential to come out of her shell. Once you pet her she softens up and accepts, she just isn't quite trusting just yet. Medically, April has a mild heart murmur (graded 2 out of 6) and some dental tartar—nothing urgent, but both will need monitoring as she ages. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. April would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands shy cats and is willing to give her the space and time she needs to feel safe.
