My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.A volunteer writes: A good Samaritan saw someone unloading crates to set them on the sidewalk. Upon closer inspection, the crates contained four cats, one of whom is known as Mechanic. A tiny cat who looks so much younger than she is, she came to us very unhappy and likely confused. In her efforts to make sense of her ever changing landscape of a life, Mechanic sits right at the front of her condo. Her paws practically hanging out the door she sits so close. Except, she isn't quite ready to join in just yet. Mechanic allows some pets, but she's also someone who needs a bit more time to feel comfortable. When I opened her condo door, she hopped back as quickly as she could. We know that things have changed a lot for Mechanic, but she's someone who very much deserves a chance.
