My story

Meet Lettie! She is likely a Poodle/Great Pyrenees mix and is 2 years old and around 50 lbs. Lettie is a big puppy at heart who loves to play with other dogs and her toys. She is an enthusiastic player and can be a little too rambunctious when playing with her smaller dog friends. We're unsure how she may be with cats but she sure loves to bark at them. Some of Lettie's favorite things - being near her humans, hanging out on the couch with her humans, and riding in the car with her humans (especially to get a pup cup!). She loves her humans. Lettie really attaches herself to her adult people and can resource guard them some around small children, who love to be held and get lots of attention from their adults too. For this reason, she would be best in a home without young children and she would thrive in a home as an only dog. Lettie is house trained. She enjoys walks and does well on a leash. She has learned to jump a fence or an inside dog/baby gate so she does need supervision when outside. We're unsure what her life was like before she came into our rescue and she really struggles with being kenneled or enclosed in a room by herself. Luckily, she has free range of the house when her foster family is away and she has done great! She hasn't chewed on anything she shouldn't! She enjoys watching out the window at everything she sees and likes tell the squirrels an dogs walking by to get off her lawn. She is right there to greet you at the door when you come home! She does have some separation anxiety and would do best with a person or family that works from home or is retired. She is working on her commands like sit, down, shake and roll over. When fed, she does best eating in her own area as she likes to check out her foster siblings' bowls more than they would like. This loving girl is looking for a person or family to love her back. If you think your home may be a good fit for Lettie, apply to meet / adopt her at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application Lettie is spayed, up to date on age vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. She does not have any special needs or take any medications.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lettie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
