My story

Meet Odie (formerly Sonny) – a 1½-year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who might just be the best dog in the world! He’s sweet, playful, smart, and incredibly loyal—a true companion in every way. Odie is house-trained, very smart, listens well, and has completed a basic obedience class. He absolutely adores people and craves human connection. Whether he’s snuggled up next to you on the couch, soaking up belly rubs, or following you from room to room, Odie makes every moment better just by being there. He rides well in the car, enjoys daily trips to the dog park, and plays great with other dogs. Odie is very friendly with people and would thrive in an active home that can give him plenty of exercise and attention. Odie is truly one of a kind. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and fun best friend, Odie is ready to meet you. Fill out all below. Personality & Characteristics: My foster dog is good with: Older kids and adults.  He is not good with other animals. Commands/Tricks: Sit, lay-down, stay, come, leave it, drop it, etc. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States ##2012810##
