My story

Our hearts hurt for Sammy. His owner could no longer take care of him and he arrived to the shelter on 5/20. Sammy is 3 years old and weighs in at 25 pounds. He is a sweetheart but so scared of his new surroundings. He does love his cuddles. He knows the feeling of a home and wants that feeling back. Would you give Sammy a chance at happily ever after? Ask for ID# 10142 Run 316. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
