My story

  With a little persistence and patience you'll bound to have many Eureka moments in your future! This somewhat shy but sweet- and secretly goofy!- former momma came to our shelter with kittens who have all since flown the coop. To say she is happy those kittens found placement in a foster home so she can relax would be an understatement, as Eureka is more than ready to begin her new journey. She is single and ready to mingle! Give her a little time to settle in and build a bond and this shy lady will start coming around and seeking out all sorts of attention, maybe even those elusive belly rubs we all crave. She likely wouldn't do well in a home with really young kids while she is still lacking in confidence, but maybe one day! Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals. PAWS is the city's largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care.
