My story

Liam is a young Alaskan Klee Kai that we pulled from the shelter because he had a severely fractured front leg in need of amputation. What we then discovered is that he also had a severe fracture to his pelvis (probable cause being hit by a car) so this sweet, shy little man had to have that repaired too! Because he is an otherwise healthy little guy, we decided to have both done at the same time along with being neutered so he didn't have to return for multiple surgeries. The amputation went great, but the FHO on his pelvis was hard on him so he will need a bit to recover and go through PT. Once he is healed from the surgeries then we can open him up for adoption and he can continue through his PT with his new family and BR will cover that cost.  Liam is sooo sweet and quiet and seems to do good with dogs and cats but he is a jumper, even with his fractures!!! So a new adopter would need to know that. But he such a sweet and adorable little guy!May 23, 2025, 10:43 am
