Mike

My story

Mike has been doing really well in his foster home. He was abandoned by his human at a very young age. So we know our wonderful fosters could help build up his confidence. His foster writes, “He’s taking his time but opening up! I have been able to pet him if he comes up to me, and is much more comfortable if my cat is around too. He is a sweet, sweet baby. It is still true that he is much more confident around other animals. It has been exciting to see him slowly open up. He still gets a little scared if you extend your hand towards him, but baby steps! He has presented no issues. He and my cat play together and rub on each other all the time. Sometimes my own cat will play a little too rough and Mike might hiss at him. If this happens I try to separate them so they can cool down. “ Mike’s ideal home would be someone with another cat or cats who could show him the ropes. He needs time to warm up, but this boy is a LOVE.
