My story

Gaia is a beautiful German Shepherd who came to us as a surrender because her previous living situation wasn’t the right fit. She’s great with adults and even friendly with strangers, but she needs a home with no young children. Gaia would thrive in an adult-only home where she can form a strong bond with her family. She needs someone who is willing to continue training with her to make her the most successful she can be in her new home. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to blossom with someone who can help her build confidence. Gaia will do best in a home with someone who has previous experience with German Shepherds. Gaia currently weighs 68.9 pounds. If you are interested in meeting Gaia, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
