My story

Animal Profile: Vinny is a 3 month old, male short stack puppy, possibly Doxie/Cattle Dog x (best guess) but 100% cuteness!  He  will be joining us  from Texas on 05/19/2025.  He is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, crate trained, friendly with dogs, cats and kids, awaiting his freedom ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Vinny is hilarious and warms your heart when you see him! He loves to be included especially if it’s something the big dogs are doing. His legs may not be long but he doesn’t his best to keep up! When he comes in to get some pets he does a little side sit on his hip which promptly turns into a full body melt. Thanks to the time he spent with his foster in Texas, he goes right into his crate on his own! He doesn’t discriminate between crates, he loves to go in the big dogs crates too. Great with people and dogs. He’s young so potty training is still a work in progress but he has a solid start with no accidents in the crate so far, sleeps through the night and pretty quickly gets to business outside. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
