My story

Are you looking for a talkative couch potato who once comfortable will be the ultimate snuggle buddy? Mittens is the girl for you! Mittens is a young cat whose favorite things are sleeping and treats, she is pretty nervous when she is in new situations and may take a bit to full adjust into her new home and to her new hoomans. With the proper set up, time, and patience, Mittens is sure to be your new best friend. Mittens would love to meet you and, hopefully, come home with you soon! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. If you're ready to adopt now: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
