My story

Meet Kane – Your Gentle, Boogie Boy in the Making Kane is a 20 lb mystery mix with a sleek black and white coat and a heart full of love just waiting to blossom. While we may not know his exact breed, we do know he’s sweet, affectionate, and has a soft spot for soft things—blankets, dog beds, and cozy corners are his jam. Kane is good with kids and gets along well with other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a family or a home with canine companions. He’s potty trained and has been a perfect gentleman in the house with no accidents. While he’s still getting the hang of leash walking, he’s easy to manage thanks to his size and responds well to gentle guidance. Crate time isn’t his favorite part of the day, but once he’s in, he settles down pretty quickly. Kane is curious and enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace. He absolutely loves giving kisses when he feels comfortable, but he's still learning to fully trust humans. He might not want to snuggle right away, and that’s okay—he just needs someone patient who understands that love and trust take time. You can tell he wants to be close, and with a little patience, he’ll be your loyal shadow. With a relatively calm temperament and occasional bursts of playfulness, Kane is the perfect balance of mellow and fun.
