My story

Location: Minneapolis, MN Hello, I'm Soliel! I'm an energetic bundle of happiness with my occasional signature Husky side eye. I love playing with toys and going on walks; my foster mom walks me 10 miles every day and I could go more! Being outside is one of my favorite things, though I don't like not being able to roam at my own pace. I'm very well potty trained and haven't had any accidents. I'm not a territory marked kind of pup so my stops on walks are limited. I am a bit of an escape artist, so best to keep me well-leashed while I get to know my surroundings. The good news is, I'm great on a leash! I do really well at limiting my pulling, though I do still get very distracted by bunnies and squirrels. My foster mom isn't a runner but thinks I'd do great with one! I'm very friendly and love meeting new people. I do just fine walking past other dogs, but currently do not live with one, so we don't think I'd have any problems with a medium-to-large playful brother or sister, but are currently not positive. I do not like bunnies though and want to play too hard with them. Due to this, I think I'd be best in a home without a cat or smaller dog. I'm a grazer when it comes to eating and am not territorial with my food/treats (with humans), so I would do well in a home that doesn't time feed. I can get on the rougher side of playing sometimes so I think I'd be better suited for a home without little kids I can knock over. I love looking out windows and am not much of a barker. I only get loud if I want to play and am being ignored; everyone knows the dishes can wait! I love chewing on toys and have been caught confusing a chair leg for toy once but haven't had any other incidents in gnawing on things I shouldn't. I'm still learning that my kennel doesn't mean I'm in trouble. I like to freely lie in it while my foster mom works next to me. I like to wind down on the couch in the evening and am a little sad when cuddle time is over, and it's time for bed in my kennel, though I get cuddled in quickly (and quietly) and sleep perfectly all through the night. I'm looking for an active and happy home with someone who loves walks and doesn't mind me following them around to make sure I'm not missing out on anything, with lots of tummy rubs as well, of course. I can't wait to meet you! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Soleil, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
