My story

Hi there, I’m a pretty little Cattle-Jack pup (Australian Cattle Dog & Jack Russell Terrier mix) named Sunshine. I’m about 8 months old, weigh 32 lbs, and I was found with a 10-week-old black Lab puppy wandering down the side of a road in the middle of nowhere in Floresville, Texas. We were both covered in ticks, not chipped, no collars, no homes nearby, so we went home with the nice lady who found us, and she is now our foster mom. I am a sweet and friendly girl with a medium energy level, instantly wonderful with people, young and old, unconcerned with cats, and I love to play with my doggie friends... running zoomies, playing chase, and having so much fun! My foster mom says I’m sweet and affectionate, but not really the kissy type, more into pets and snuggles and being nosy. I like to follow her around the house, inside and outside, supervising everything she does, and I also enjoy chewing on Nylabone-style chew toys. I like walks and car rides, I’m housebroken, and I learned how to use a doggy door. I only bark to alert, and I’m well-behaved for a youngster. My future looks bright, and I am ready to meet a forever family and get my life started. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go, so East Coast people, inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
