Ramona

My story

Ramona is from a litter of street dogs in Aruba that live in a neighborhood where people sometimes feed them, but it still means living on the street and poor Ramona was hit by a car twice. It crushed her femur and she just had surgery for it and surgery went well and she started to use her hind leg again and amazingly she fully recovered. So far we have no solution for her siblings yet. but would like to fly them to a better life as well. Please go to Doggy Has Soul Sanctuary and see what a transformation she made. She went from being so scared to running with the pack and loving it in no time. When you call her name she smiles and runs to you for a snack. She is currently about 35lbs. We are so happy for her to be this new bouncy sweet little darling. Ramona goes to daycare and is the party clown there. At home she is a gentle, quite girl and will do great in her new forever home. She is about 8-9 months old. We ask that you are within 40 miles of Elgin. She is potty and crate trained and would love to live with at least one other dog. The adoption fee is $450 to help offset her surgery and transport fees.
