My story

Meet Slugbug, a 6 year old Labrador Retriever mix, approximately weighing 84 pounds. Slugbug is a social butterfly, always eager to meet new people and make friends. His infectious enthusiasm and joy for life make every day a little brighter. He loves nothing more than to play, explore, and spend quality time with those around him. His adaptable nature makes him a perfect companion for any lifestyle. Despite his current circumstances, Slugbug remains optimistic and full of love. His resilience is truly inspiring, and he continues to bring smiles to everyone he meets. Slugbug is ready to fill his future home with love, laughter, and lots of wagging tails. Slugbug will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how he will do with cats.Slugbug is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today!
