My story

Meet Sage, a 1 year old Chihuahua mix, approximately weighing 14 pounds. Sage, a dog with a heart as vast as a meadow, brimming with untapped affection. She`s young, yet wise beyond her years, a testament to her name. Her demeanor is sweet, like the first bite of a ripe peach on a sunny day. But she`s also a bit shy, a wallflower that blooms with gentle encouragement. She`s a silent observer, taking in the world around her with a quiet curiosity that`s endearing. She`s a puzzle, waiting for someone patient enough to piece together. Sage is not just a pet, she`s a companion, a confidante, a friend. Sage will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how she will do with cats.Sage is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today!
