My story

Meet Amka! She's the perfect family dog in the most gorgeous body! Amka is a gentle and friendly soul who loves people of all ages. She has been around young children and is perfect with them! She lets them play with her ears, give her hugs, and she doesn't mind when they're noisy or running around. She walks amazingly on a leash and doesn't jump up on people. It's clear she was in a loving home at some point in time with her amazing manners.  Amka has been paired with a few dogs here at the shelter, and she does well! She seems to prefer respectful male dogs, but she may do well with the right female canine companion as well. She listens very well to her humans and is willing to learn anything she can to make you happy!  Call the Ranch to come meet her today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       August 7, 2025, 6:13 pm
