Looking for a laid-back buddy with a heart of gold? Say hello to Drum! Drum’s got a rhythm all his own—and it’s the kind that brings calm joy and sweet companionship to every day. At around 9 years old, this gentle guy is the ultimate chill companion. Drum came to UAAF from a shelter in Cedar City after his owner passed away, but he’s ready to find a new family to love and call his own. This distinguished gentleman is all about the simple pleasures: a sunny spot to nap in the yard, a stroll around the neighborhood or mild hiking path, or just hanging out under his foster mom’s desk while she works. He gets along great with other dogs and might even bust out a little play bow here and there—just don’t expect any rowdy wrestling matches. He’s more into peaceful vibes and quiet fun. This silver fox is in great shape! He has a heart murmur, but after a full checkup (including an X-ray and echocardiogram), his vet gave him two paws up for his recent dental—no meds needed, and his bloodwork? “Incredible!” Plus, he’s fully potty trained and walks like a pro on the leash. We even did genetic testing, and the results are in- this 30 lb hunk of love is 56% Japanese Chin and 33% chihuahua. That explains the perfect blend of charm, loyalty, and laid back sass! Drum’s dream day? A bit of fresh air, a cozy nap, and someone to love nearby. If you’re into calm cuddles, easy-going strolls, and a furry friend who’s always happy to be by your side, Drum might just be your soulmate. Adopt Drum—because every heart needs a little rhythm. Drum has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Drum, please complete an adoption application on our website. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Drum, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
