Lady

My story

Lady is pure perfection. Lady was surrendered to us after being used for breeding. She is estimated to be 6-7 years old and is now just learning what it is like to be pampered. Lady is living for a home for the first time so there a few things to think about when deciding if you would like to be considered as her forever family: - Lady does require another confident dog and a yard in her forever family at this time. So many things are new to her and she is having to gain confidence in every day things. A leash currently is something that she isn't used to. She relies on her foster siblings for guidance and courage. - She is not currently potty trained as she is living in a home for the first time so being able to separate the inside and outside is a learning curve for her currently. She does however love her crate and does not have accidents in it as that is her safe space. - She is wonderful with kids but would do best with either older children OR children who are experienced with dogs and able to go slow with her. Lady is going to need a family that is patience and willing, however every inch of her and her company is worth it. She would make a wonderful addition to the right home for all the love she is willing to give and waiting to receive. She is currently available for a FOSTER to ADOPT home as she is awaiting her spay and dental. However, we would love for her to start building a bond and routine in her forever home so that she doesn't get too comfortable and have to start all over again. A foster to adopt must be within 2 hours of Chicago AND willing to transport her to her surgery appointment at our veterinarian clinic in Irving Park neighborhood in Chicago.
