My story

Ariel is an estimated 7 year old, tiny girl. Ariel came to us from one of our partner rescues after being released from a commercial breeder. She was extremely matted and unsocialized however she didn't let that stop her. All she wanted was to be by you, held, or laying on a comfortable bed. Ariel had a dental recently where we discovered just how bad her diet and lack of medical was. She has 14 teeth extracted (yikes, I know it sounds like a lot but dogs have a lot of teeth and she is eating GOOD) and had a bit of a recovery after this was done. Again, she did not let that stop her and she continued to prove that she is the sweetest and forgiving girl. She is crate trained, but when she is out she just finds her bed. She is not fully potty trained so she will need a home with patience and routine, this is to be expected when before coming to the rescue she had never lived in a home. She is looking to be someones companion and best friend. Ariel is adoptable within 3 years old Chicago.
