Bitsy

My story

Bitsy is estimated to be a 5-6 year old Havanese. She came to us from one of our rescue partners looking for a fresh start after being released from a commercial breeder. She came along side her bestfriend Betsy, who is estimated to be a 4 years old. Here they were used for profit and now are learning what it’s like to be a normal dog. As a lot of other commercial breeds dogs they is looking for a home that can provide patience, love and training. She is affectionate and definitely wants attention which isn’t always the case. However she will need work on basic things as in: - Potty training as she probably lived in a kennel majority of her time and is learning routine on going in and out. - Leash training as this is the first time she’s worn a leash or harness. - At this time we are requiring a fenced yard, however that could change if she makes progress in this. - She will be adjusting to a new environment and so reassurance when she there are loud noises or new things will be so helpful. Their adoption fee ($500 & $250 equaling $750) includes their spay, Bitsy's dental, up to date vaccines and preventatives, negative heartworm test, and microchip. They located in Chicago and adoptable within 3 hours of Chicago.
