My story

Bio: Sapphire is a gentle, curious kitty with a heart of gold. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was very shy and spent her early days hiding out in the bathroom. But even then, she welcomed ear scratches and affection — she just needed a little time to adjust. Now that she’s settled in, Sapphire has truly blossomed! Her sweet and funny personality is shining through. She loves all kinds of scratches (even from new visitors), enjoys cuddles on your lap — once she’s been invited — and keeps her foster mom entertained with her quiet nighttime adventures. In the morning, toys are scattered throughout the house, evidence of her playful side. Sapphire has a unique approach to toys — she prefers chewing on her wand toy to chasing it — but she enjoys watching it wiggle and will likely start joining in the fun more and more as she gains confidence. She’s also a big fan of silvervine and Churu treats! She’s still a little cautious around her canine foster brother, especially when he's on the move, but she’s curious and will gently sniff him when he's calm or sleeping. They even enjoy treat time together in the afternoons. Sapphire would do best in a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. With just a little encouragement and love, she’ll reward you with her affectionate nature and playful charm. Taking a chance on this shy sweetheart will be one of the best decisions you make. Dog sociability: Yes, with proper introduction and a respectful pup! Lives with a gentle small dog. Cat sociability: Yes, with proper introduction! Kid sociability: Possibly older children that can take things at her pace! Likes: Treats, mouse toy, scratches Dislikes: Loud noises, sudden movements The adoption fee is $100. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
