My story

Meet Raya – Graceful, Loyal, and Quietly Confident Raya, previously known as Daisy Mae, is a gentle and affectionate Australian Cattle Dog mix who’s quickly earning the title of “best companion.” Though she’s still settling in and coming out of her shell, Raya’s calm presence and thoughtful demeanor shine through. She’s wonderfully well-mannered on leash—walking with grace and ease, even during busy or stressful situations. No pulling, no tension—just quiet confidence and trust. Raya is excellent with other dogs, including five in her foster home, and knows how to politely set boundaries with younger pups when needed. She enjoys occasional play but seems to prefer calm snuggles and close companionship with her people. While still a bit shy and sensitive to loud noises, she shows every sign of being well-socialized and responsive. She clearly knows several basic commands, responds readily to her previous name, and looks to her humans for reassurance with soulful, loyal eyes. Potty trained, crate comfortable, and equally well-behaved when given freedom to roam, Raya is an easy housemate. She sleeps peacefully on a bed near her foster, blending independence with attachment in the best way. Her athletic build and striking coat make her a great fit for an active home that values both outdoor adventures and cozy evenings. With patience and love, Raya will blossom into a deeply devoted, calm, and steady companion. ##2404116##
