My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!My purr motor is always running!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: Sweet Potato's name is perfect for him as he is the color of a perfectly ripe sweet potato with butter... Absolutely delicious. He was purchased from a 14th St. market for $20 by a good Samaritan and we are so thankful that this person rescued him because who knows the hands he could've fallen into and we are looking forward to giving him the best chance at the best life ever. He is a seasoned gentleman, and everyone knows how much I love ginger cats and how much I love seniors! After a few minutes of being a bit reserved, I got to see his gentle demeanor unravel, and his friendliness shine through. I truly think that this boy will steal many hearts from whoever he meets and maybe steal a few treats along the way. I am so thankful that I crossed paths with this boy and I will do whatever it takes to find him the perfect home for the perfect life. Primary Color: Orange Weight: 7.4 Age: 12yrs 1mths 0wks
