My story

Zibble A17501843 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -Timid especially on leash. She walks slow and steady on walks and needed a lot of encouragement going outside. She walked back in decently, although doorways and walking around corners made her stop and pause.Treats help encourage her to get her moving along again.-She is absolutely food motivated-She is a little skinny-Sits and takes treats very nicely-Once comfortable she enjoys pets-Affectionate and gives kisses-No interest in toys at the moment-She is a sweet baby who needs time and patience to fully open up-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
