Have you been searching for a dog who will love you with every fiber of her being? Look no further than Lilith. We are talking “soul dog” type of connection! This stunning girl is equal parts loyal companion, cuddly couch potato, and playmate. She may take a little time to settle in and decompress, especially in a new environment or around other dogs, but once she feels safe, she truly begins to shine! Once that bond is established (literally takes about 30 minutes) this girl is yours for life! She is dog and child friendly- and also the best girl on the leash! Check out her video here to see her meet dogs, meet children, share toys and show off her tricks! https://youtu.be/_lixiiEyM0k Lilith is a beautiful, sensitive (sensitive in a sweet gentle way) girl who has learned that the world can be a beautiful place, filled with people that love her just for existing! With gentle encouragement and sweet talk, you have stolen her heart! She loves when you tell her she is a pretty girl and a perfect baby 😅She’s not just looking for a home; she’s looking for the deep connection of soul-mates. Lilith is estimated to be 2 years old, currently weighs 54 lbs, and is possibly a lab mix. She is a rescue though so we cannot guarantee age or breed. You understand and we all know why rescue is the best breed- the heart they are given. Lilith’s greatest joy in life is being with her people. Whether she’s sprawled across your lap, nuzzling into your side, or gazing up at you with a look that says “you’re my whole world.” She's the kind of dog that makes you feel like the most important person in the room — because to her, you are. It is also not a bond that is overwhelming. You can set boundaries with her, crate her, and she will lounge outside by the pool, on the couch, or wherever she finds a good spot! If you give her a rope or a toy she is happier than you can imagine. Lilith met 4 year old Kobe and 5 year old Eleanor. It was the sweetest thing to experience her meeting them and having her disposition change. She was taking treats gently and walking calmly by Kobe’s side. Eleanor and Kobe make quite a pair- lots of fun and she handled that like a champ. Checking in with the kids to see that they were doing good and watching them play. Kobe was obsessed with her! It is vary rare he gets to walk a big dog on his own. He always asks but it never works out! Lilith is so gentle and mindful on the leash that she adhered to his little leash tug. While Lilith walks well on leash and isn’t reactive, she prefers slow introductions to dogs. She is a great tandem walker so that is a great way to get the dogs to bond. She prefers slow, respectful introductions and tends to do best with calm, unbothered male dogs who give her space and don’t push her boundaries. She is fostered with three adult males, one of which is a spicy chihuahua! Lilith begs him to play with her. Her favorite game is tug o war with her foster brothers. She makes sure to share her love of toys with other dogs and we love that about her! Her best match will be a confident goofball that is content if they have short bursts of play or are content doing their own thing. Kid friendly, leash-savvy, and full of love to give, Lilith is looking for a consistent home where she can tell you how much she loves you! If you’re ready to go slow, lead with love, and be her soft place to land, Lilith will reward you with unmatched loyalty and heart. Lilith isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Could that be you? Questions? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
