Delilah

My story

Delilah girl is shy at first but easy brought out of her shell! She is a 15 week old puppy who came to us from one of our rescue partners in Texas hoping to avoid growing up in rescue! Delilah is guessed to be a lab mix and we're thinking maybe shepherd but honestly with our Texas specials you never know! Things we have noticed about Delilah so far: - She has done so well in the car! I mean, that maybe since she also has been on her first plane ride and so the rest seems easy peasy. - She loves being outside! She is learning from her foster sister how fun just rolling in the grass can be. - Enjoys playing with other dogs! - She seems to be catching on to potty training in her new environment pretty quickly, so we imagine that she will continue to do so when her forever is found. However as always, please be prepared for some patience! - She is off an on doing well in her crate, so routine will keep her consistent in continuing to build positive relationship with it. If you are interested in being considered a forever home for Delilah and live within 3 hours of Chicago, apply here directly. She is comfortable in her foster home until adoption, however if her forever home is found before 6/14 she is eligible for a foster to adopt home while she waits for her spay. Her chosen forever home would be responsible for taking her to her spay at our local vet in Mokena! Her adoption fee includes her spay, up to date vaccines and preventatives, and microchip.
