My story

Meet Lamb Chop, a 2-year-old, 53-pound lovebug with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. She’s housetrained, crate trained, and ready to be your constant companion. Playtime and snuggles are Lamb Chop’s two favorite things in the world. She loves a good romp with her toys—toss one and watch her light up with excitement! But once playtime winds down, she’s all about the cuddles. If she could crawl under your skin to be closer to you, she would. She thrives on affection and wants nothing more than to be right by your side, whether you're relaxing on the couch or hanging out around the house. Lamb Chop walks well on leash with just mild pulling, mostly from eagerness to explore. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness, making her an ideal match for someone looking for both fun and affection in a four-legged friend. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be up for playtime—and even more up for couch time—Lamb Chop is your girl. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match.
