My story

Raptor | 1 Year Old | 55lbs Hey there, I'm Raptor, a prehistoric sweetheart with the charm of a puppy and the enthusiasm of a dino discovering squeaky toys for the first time. I arrived at K9s For Warriors in March of 2025, after passing my initial test with flying colors. Due to some medical concerns, I wasn’t able to join the service dog program, but don’t worry—I’ve still got plenty of joy, zoomies, and cuddle potential to go around! I'm still figuring out a few things about living in the modern world—like where the potty spots are and what not to chew (turns out fingers aren't toys, who knew?). But hey, I’m a quick learner, especially when there are snacks involved! I’m a very clever boy who loves solving food puzzles, wrestling with my doggy friends in full T-Rex mode, and cooling off in the AC—because even dinosaurs know the importance of climate control. Sure, I may be a little rough around the edges, but with patience, love, and maybe a few treats, I’ll evolve into the best snuggle-saurus you’ve ever met. Ready to bring home a dino-mite best friend?
