Actually, hide everything. Your purse, your laundry, your snacks, and yes, even that 24-pack of bottled water you thought was safe in the corner. Buster is basically the Golden Retriever version of Wreck-It Ralph—but fluffier and with a wagging tail. If it’s anywhere vaguely reachable, it now belongs to Buster. At 7 months old and 70 pounds, Buster has the body of a linebacker and the impulse control of a squirrel at a rave. He’s got the manners of a 12-week-old puppy, which would be adorable if he didn’t weigh as much as a small adult human. He missed the memo on early puppy training, so now everything’s a game: jumping, puppy biting, and general 'what’s-this-oh-I’ll-take-it' behavior. But don't worry—he’s got a heart of gold under all that tornado energy. What Buster lacks in etiquette, he makes up for in pure, unfiltered sweetness. He wants to be a good boy. He just needs someone to teach him what that actually means (and maybe someone to wear protective gear during training). Buster is bursting with energy and needs a home that can keep up with him—think marathon runner with a sense of humor. Children? Not a great idea right now unless you’ve got spares.Cats? We’ll be honest—we don’t think they’d survive. Training experience is required—bonus points if you’ve ever tried to train a caffeinated kangaroo. Buster will need structured training, consistency, and someone who believes in second (and third, and fourth) chances. He does great in his crate (finally, a win!) and has held it together for up to 4 hours with zero accidents—though his potty schedule is tighter than a military drill. He adores fetch and even brings the ball back, which is basically the dog equivalent of a miracle. He can entertain himself with a ball for hours, which is helpful since he’s still figuring out how to share space with other dogs. A canine roommate would need to be the Zen master of tolerance. If you're in the market for a high-energy, hilarious, loveable fixer-upper with a tail, Buster Brown is your guy. If you're looking for a couch potato Golden who just wants to cuddle and watch Netflix—keep scrolling. Buster’s not there... yet. Buster is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. He will be neutered prior to adoption.
