My story

Meet Grover Grover is about 3 years old, weighs 38 pounds and is a happy dog. He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys treats. He was rescue from a shelter near the border of Mexico. We are so happy he is now safe with us. We can see Grover doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He would do best in a home where he won't be left alone all day. He prefers to be with his people, and not alone. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and in true terrier fashion, he is very smart and craves your attention. He enjoys playing with his toys and treats. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. He gets along with other dogs, so a dog sibling would be fine. Grover is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 28th. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the only to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. If you are adopting ANY dog from a southern state, it needs to be tested for Chagas disease.
