My story

Meet our handsome boy, Martin. He is a mix of mini schnauzer, poodle and yorkie. The best things come in threes, meet your perfect schnauzerdoodleorkie! He turned a year-old March 4, 2025, and currently weighs 13 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped, UpToDate on all his vaccines and had a fecal sample sent out which came back negative. The vet cleared him and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside when asked to every few hours throughout the day. We did have to switch him to a sensitive stomach food and start him on probiotics since he was having some tummy trouble at first. Since then, his digestion has totally balanced out and his potty habits have been perfectly on track. He's done amazing with a consistent routine and hasn't had a single accident with us. He is crate-trained and sees his crate as a safe comfy space. He sleeps soundly through the night without a peep and settles in easily when you need to step out. Of course, he'd happily ditch the crate for a spot next to you in bed if that's what you prefer. He is also leash trained and loves exploring the world around him. He's curious and enjoys a good stroll just as much as a full-on yard zoomie session. If you love to jog, Martin will keep up and it's a great way to burn off some of his playful energy. Martin Thrives on affection from his humans and will happily curl up next to you after a long day. He's smart, eager to learn, and picks up on commands quickly. He will do almost anything for some treats. Martin's journey to our rescue wasn't an easy one. He was originally adopted as a puppy by a family who adored him but soon realized they weren't prepared for the responsibility of a young dog. As their schedules became busier, Martin spent more and more time alone, without the attention and engagement he needed. Wanting the best for him, they made the difficult decision to surrender him to our rescue, hoping we could find him a family that will give him the life he deserves. His Adoption fee is $1500. It covers all veterinarian costs and the care/training since he has been with us. Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Martin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
