My story

Cronut isn’t here to win any popularity contests—and that’s exactly what makes him so endearing. This 4-year-old rat terrier mix is a salty little guy with a sweet name and a whole lot of opinions. He knows what he wants: peace, quiet, and a human who gets his vibe.Cronut isn’t interested in attending puppy parties, or any party really. Other dogs? Mehhh, maybe another calm one that won`t get up in his face, he`s just no into anything with too much energy. He’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can do his own thing, on his terms. He’s not about drama or chaos—just give him a cozy spot to nap, a few leisurely walks, and some personal space, and he’s golden.While he may come off grouchy at first, Cronut has a loyal heart under that grumbly exterior. He bonds deeply with his person and will be a steadfast, no-frills companion for someone who just wants a good ol` fashioned pup (He`s not looking to get dressed up in cute PJ`s or pose for your instagram).Cronut is the ultimate “you do your thing, I’ll do mine” kind of guy. If you’re a fellow introvert looking for a low-key roommate with strong opinions and a soft spot (deep down), Cronut’s waiting to meet you!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
