My story

Meet Stormy, a ~1-year-old Lab/Pit mix with a whole lot of love (and wiggles) to give! She’s all about making new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Stormy has lived with both cats and dogs and done well, including sharing space with a small poodle buddy. She loves to play and can get a little over-the-top excited during romps, occasionally getting mouthy in a gentle, puppy-ish way—but she listens well when corrected and is eager to please. She’s crate trained, house trained, and ready to bring her playful energy and sweet personality into a home that can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. If you’re looking for a young, social dog who’s already got a solid foundation, Stormy might just be your girl! We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
