My story

Meet Weevil!This adorable little “lowrider” is 26 pounds of charm and cheer! At around a year old, Weevil and his littermates came to us after their owner was hospitalized, and they’ve been nothing but sweet and resilient ever since. Everyone in this litter got insect names, and Weevil wears his proudly!With his long body and short legs, he’s got the cutest little frame—think Border Collie meets something smaller and sillier. He’s the protector of the group, but his favorite things are flashing his huge smile, being goofy, and collecting all the pets he can get.Weevil has spent his whole life with his siblings, so he’d thrive in a home with at least one other friendly dog to keep him company. He’s part snuggler, part clown, and 100% good boy.Ready for a sweet, silly, lowrider pup in your life? If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
