My story

Meet Jelly Bean Jelly Bean is an incredibly sweet girl who’s just having a hard time right now. The shelter environment has been really stressful for her, and she’s quietly waiting for a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe. She’ll do best in a quiet household without dogs or young children, but she could be a great companion for a friendly, patient cat who can help her build confidence. Jelly Bean will need some time to adjust in a new space, so a little extra patience and understanding will go a long way. Since her time with us, Jelly Bean has never shown any mean behavior—just fear and uncertainty. But recently, she’s started to come out of her shell in the sweetest ways, even gently rubbing her face against staff members' faces to show affection. It’s been such a joy to see her slowly learn to trust. If you’re someone who believes in giving shy souls the time they need to bloom, Jelly Bean just might be your perfect match.
