Hi, I’m Squirrel! I’m 5 months old, a brown tabby/Abyssinian mix, and I am very playful. I am a feisty firecracker. I love to zip around the room chasing toy springs, wrestling with shadows, and trying to get my sister into trouble. They say my energy and silly antics will keep you laughing. I have a sister named Mouse. Mouse is the brave explorer of the pair — curious, confident, and always the first to investigate anything new. She has a soft spot for cozy blankets and will reward your affection with loud, rumbling purrs. We’re five months old now, which means we’re still full of kitten energy, but we’re also learning to slow down and enjoy the finer things—like curling up on your lap, or purring until you’re convinced we’re tiny fuzzy motors. Trust me, we’ve got that part down. We can be adopted separately, but if you take one of us home, make sure there’s another playful kitten or young cat around. We don’t do well alone — we’re just too social and snuggly for that. So, if you’re looking for a sweet, adventurous kitty (and maybe her sister), I might just be the kitty for you. Let’s make your home our next great adventure. This kitty should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Squirrel was born approximately December 5, 2024, and her adoption fee is $185, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
