My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Callie. She’s already fully vetted. About five to six years old. She is a manx which is a cat born without a full tail. There is a story about the origin of these kitties. Please Google it. Callie was a stray. The lady who has been caring for her for the last year or two is having to move into a camper. There is no adoption fee for Callie in hopes we can find her a loving home she so deserves.    We really encourage kitten adopters to adopt two kittens when adopting. Cats like buddies. If introducing a younger kitten into a household with older cats the youngster may be too playful for the older cat. Having a younger buddy to wrestle and play with is ideal. We usually also have other kittens in similar age group available for adoption. Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" :                            https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org/forms Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring a pet home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the kitten to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for kittens are $250.  $100 for adult cats.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place cats will be determined by our Board of Directors. All cats will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, FIV and FeLK negative, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Our cats are only adopted out AS INDOOR ONLY PETS!!! Please know we practice Covid-19 guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing.  Only approved applicants are allowed to meet our kittens. Please email barkingdogfrm@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2025, 12:49 pm
