My story

We tried for a few days to find his owners before we went to Asheville Humane to make a report for him. He was not microchipped, had no tags and was NOT neutered. He had a really bad skin infection so we took him to our vet and got him fixed up on antibiotics and cream for his rash. We did the legally required stray-hold and posted everywhere we knew to try and find his owners, if he even has one. Months later, nothing. So we now need to take next steps and find him a forever home. As much as I love him I cannot have another dog. But now about Bently! The vet estimated him to be about 8 months to 1 one year old . Bently is VERY puppy-like at 53lbs! So he may get a bit bigger. He is a tall pup now and loves to bounce around the house. He loves ATTENTION more than anything. We have tried toys but he doesn't seem to know what to do with them. He gets along great with all my big and small dogs. He will chase cats but doesn't harm them. He just ignores the cats that don't run.  He definitely needs more exercise. I'm looking for a shepherd loving family that will keep him active.
