My story

Meet Sally! A tender-hearted four-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently living in Upland, CA, whose calico coat is as colorful and endearing as her affectionate personality. Born in July 2021 and bottle-raised with love, Sally has blossomed into a cuddly companion who still carries that sweet kitten charm. From the moment you scoop her into your arms, she’ll serenade you with gentle purrs and begin making biscuits like a little chef in love. Her big, expressive eyes will lock onto yours when she wants attention—yes, she really makes eye contact—and her joyful little growls during zoomie sessions will have you giggling every time! Sally is a professional snuggler who also knows how to have fun. Spring toys, wand toys, shoelaces, and even her favorite stuffed cat toy keep her entertained, especially when paired with a good window perch for bird watching and daydreaming. She’s affectionate and social, thriving in calm, quiet homes with gentle rhythms and loving companionship. This calico girl is wonderfully flexible—happy as a cherished only cat or playful housemate to a friendly female feline. She's a bit shy at first but warms up to fellow whiskered friends after a slow and mindful introduction, especially after vet visits or temporary separations. While she's great with respectful dogs and enjoys family life, she truly shines with a caregiver who’s around often and values close companionship. Sally doesn’t enjoy being alone for long periods and prefers a peaceful setting—loud sounds like vacuums and washers send her tiptoeing to a quieter corner. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Sally does require wet food in her diet to stay at a healthy weight and is a big fan of her scratching posts—especially since she's quite protective of her paws and not a fan of nail trims.
