She’s a friendly little lady with a big personality packed into her small Dachshund frame. She excitedly greets everyone with happy little hops and is always ready for an adventure. On walks, Sophie’s a dream, trotting along nicely on leash with no pulling. She’s curious and confident, showing friendly or neutral interest in other dogs, though she prefers to avoid loud or overly forward pups. Sophie isn’t much into toys but loves exploring, sniffing around, and soaking up attention. She adores being petted, will happily crawl into your lap, and is very comfortable with all-over handling, including her paws. Sophie knows how to “sit” and takes treats gently—clearly a smart cookie! While she would do well in many home environments, she can be vocal with a unique bark, especially when excited, so that’s something to consider for apartment/condo living. With her sweet nature, smarts, and spunky charm, Sophie is ready to wiggle her way into your heart and home! Come meet her at an adoption event to see if she’s the girl for you!
