Meet Slater &#194&#150 The Boxer Mix with a Big Heart and Bigger Hopes! Hey there! I'm Slater, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a winning smile, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love (and maybe a little silliness too). I was found roaming near Somerset in Rockwall, but no one came to claim me&#194&#151so now I'm on the hunt for a forever family who's ready for snuggles, strolls, and unconditional loyalty. I'm the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. Want a buddy for chill couch time? I'm your guy. Looking for a pal for weekend walks or backyard zoomies? Also me. I've got the good manners down and I'm working on earning my &#194&#147Best Dog Ever&#194&#148 badge! I am, neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. I did test heartworm positive, BUT thanks to the amazing folks at Rockwall PAWS, my treatment will be covered at little to no cost to my new family! (How cool is that?!) I'm SO ready to bring joy, loyalty, and a whole lot of tail wags into your life. Since I am in a foster home, meet and greets will be by approved application only. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
