Johnny, a 6 year old Brussels Griffon, left his past in the commercial breeding facility behind and is ready for a new beginning! While he is still decompressing in his temporary foster home, his quirky personality is beginning to show. When he is not napping or eagerly anticipating his next meal, he loves to roll in soft dog beds and vocalize his pleasure. As Johnny is so new to rescue he is not yet house trained, nor does he appreciated human touch or being petted. As time heals all wounds, we know that with a calm environment and patience, Johnny will discover the joys of living with a human family! No kids! Must have a securely fenced yard! A resident companion dog will help Johnny to learn and give him a mentor. The suggested adoption donation for Johnny is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
