My story

Meet Delta, our first-class feline with a resting "flight attendant" face that says, “Ma’am, this is an Aisle Seat.” A dilute tortoiseshell with striking smoky tones and a no-nonsense attitude, Delta prefers a window seat view—usually from the top of the tallest cat tree, where she can silently evaluate your every move like an air marshal on patrol. But once you’ve cleared security (aka earned her trust), Delta is ready to roll out the red carpet. She’ll lean into your pets like she’s been upgraded to first class and expects in-flight snuggles, pronto. She’s affectionate, loyal, and would prefer a smooth, drama-free flight path in a home where she can call the shots. Bonus points if you offer treats during takeoff. If you're ready to be cleared for cuddles and can handle a little turbulence from a sassy co-pilot, Delta’s your girl. Now boarding. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
