My story

Ajax is a handsome black and white Siamese mix with striking features and a soft heart he saves for those he trusts. While he can be a bit shy in new places or around new people, once he’s comfortable, he becomes your quiet little shadow—often found curled up right between your legs, soaking in the warmth and closeness. This lovable guy enjoys affection, but on his terms. He’s got just the right mix of cuddly companion and independent soul, making him a great match for someone who understands the beauty of earning a cat’s trust. Give Ajax a little time, a little space, and he’ll give you a whole lot of love in return. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
