My story

TessI still miss my owner. We were evicted from our home, which was such a shock. I had lived with her and one other cat for six months after she found me as a young stray. I am now 1-year-old. She was very sad to have to say goodbye to me. These were the compliments about me she gave to the HSHC staff on May 20. I have perfect litterbox habits, with access to two litterboxes (hooded and open pan), clumping litter, and cleaning once a week. My owner could hold me in any position she chose. I loved climbing into her lap when she was watching television. Of course, I slept with her at night. The other cat and I co-existed well. My favorite snacks are Temptation treats, and though I love catnip, I tend to become hyper when I indulge. I have loved playing with all the toys I can get my paws on. I didn`t mind when my owner brushed me with a metal tooth detangler brush. Have you ever seen longer, wavier, white whiskers on a kitty? I`ve been a bit shy since coming to the shelter, but when the interviewer lady (IL) visited me, I gave her a little chirp and began rubbing my head against her hands, arms, and chest. I am a petite girl with a tuxedo coat and a fluffy tail. Between being petted, I took bites of my breakfast because cats sometimes like to receive affection in order to eat. The IL told me I was a darling little girl with a very charming personality. I hope someone adopts me ASAP! 6-4-25
