Chumney

My story

Handsome Chumney is 4-5 years old, and he is finally ready for a forever family.  The dear boy arrived in our care after being found stunned beside a busy highway, claws worn bloody.  Took him a few days to get over his acute concussion, but he remained reactive, particularly when volunteers swept.  Our vet put him on fluoxetine.  Thankfully, over time, Chumney has become a very sweet, affectionate fella (a volunteer-favorite).  We've continued his fluoxetine, it's an inexpensive med that he gobbles down in his evening meal.  Chumney has had dental work.  He's neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  Chumney is negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  His creatinine is very slightly up (2.0), but we rechecked and he has remained stable.  No treatment needed.  Chumney's available for adoption for $50.   Please note that Chumney is located in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 3, 2025, 6:17 pm
