My story

Bloom! Check out her hashtag to see her progress this past month #hmrbloom Warrenton VA This girl is doing so well and we know will continue to gain weight and finish blooming. She will be done her 4 weeks of Doxycycline on 6/16. She is doing well enough now that an adopter can finish at home or she can stay in foster care until done. She is currently eating Purina Pro Plan Sensitive both can and dry and a few weeks supply will be sent with her so her adopters can change slowly if desired. This girl is around 8 years old according to 2 vets. She is SPRY! She loves walks, will jog with you and is learning to play. Because of what we assume was a life of living as an only dog she is having to literally learn to play and is using her instincts of herding/prey drive to do so. She is absolutely enthralled with Gumby #hmrgumby and she follows him everywhere and will bark at him if she wants him to move faster. Fortunately Gumby is a great sport and goes along with this game. She pretty much leaves the other dogs alone. She has absolutely zero aggression and has been with both large and small dogs. She met the tester cat once and was fine on a leash. So far has shown no interest in cows or horses. She crates quietly and loves truck rides. Is housebroken and great to handle for vet work or baths. We really can’t say enough about this gem of a girl and we know she will make someone very happy.
