My story

Who’s ready for a 70 lb hunk of wigglebutt love??? Red is your man! He just wants to curl up next to you and snuggle. He’s playful (but not quite sure about fetch) and super sweet with everyone he meets. He came from really sad beginnings, kept outside tethered on a rope or left to roam the neighborhood. He was rescued, vetted and shown how much love he deserves by our rescue partner in Oklahoma, and now he’s found his way to Colorado, where he’ll get treated for heartworm and find his furever family. Big Bones has taken care of his HW treatment and we expect him to make a full recovery, so don’t let that hold you up from applying for this sweet lug! He's great with other dogs, kids and people. Red is house trained (not even one accident!), he is trusted to be free roam inside the house (no destructive behavior) and is quickly learning basic commands. He also easily goes in a crate and is quiet and well behaved. Please apply to meet this sweetheart.
